Do colors, fonts or spacing hurt my ATS score?
No. Design choices change color, type and spacing only: text stays real and selectable, headings stay standard, and the layout keeps the structure it was built with. The few photo layouts that are not meant for US applicant tracking systems are marked as such, and the size never drops below a readable point size.
Can I use my own brand color?
Yes. Alongside 13 presets, the custom color picker accepts any hex value, and the text shade is darkened automatically until it passes WCAG AA contrast, so a bold accent never becomes unreadable.
Will the PDF and Word download match what I see?
The editor preview and the exported PDF come from the same renderer, so what you style is what you download. The DOCX carries your font, size and spacing choices too.
