No. Accent colors only change appearance; the underlying structure stays ATS-safe. Photos are supported on templates that have a photo slot, but for US applications we recommend leaving the photo off, since many US recruiters and systems prefer photo-free resumes. The choice is yours.

Yes. Use the Duplicate button in your resume list to clone any resume into an independent copy you can edit without touching the original. This is handy before tailoring or experimenting with a different template.

It is a 0 to 100 estimate of how cleanly an applicant tracking system can read and rank your resume, based on structure, keywords, and completeness. It is a guide to what to fix, not a guarantee of getting hired. The score updates live as you edit so you can see what helps.

Polish improves your resume in general; tailoring rewrites a copy of it to match one specific job posting, aligning keywords to that description and giving you a live ATS-match score for the role. You get a separate tailored variant linked to its source, so your original stays intact.

One place for every role and achievement you have, separate from your resumes. Open Career profile in the app and click Merge my resumes, import a file, or answer the achievement interview. New resumes, tailored versions, cover letters and interview kits then use only the achievements you've confirmed. It is part of Resume Pass and Pro (not the free plan); the interview uses your Ask Ruubu messages. If your plan ends, your profile is kept until you upgrade again.

There is no limit on applications on any plan, free included.

Yes, on every plan. With Ruubu for Chrome, a card moves to Applied when the job site confirms your application, and interview statuses on your LinkedIn Applied list or on Workday, MyGreenhouse, SmartRecruiters and iCIMS candidate portals move it on. A rejection is only suggested. Every automatic change shows on the card's timeline with Undo. To turn it off, switch off Track applications automatically in Settings.

In Settings under your job targets, set your target titles, locations and remote preference. With the Resume Pass you then get a new batch of matches every week; Pro users also get a weekly email with strong new matches. You can turn those alert emails off anytime in privacy settings.

Yes. We draft a tailored, ATS-safe cover letter from your resume and the job posting, then open it in a live editor so you can rewrite any line. You stay in control of the final wording, and your monthly limit is shown on your plan.

Each kit generates role-specific questions, behavioral scenarios, STAR talking points built from your resume, and company research tuned to your target role. Generate one per role or company you are chasing.

All of them stay in your library with the job title, company and last-updated date, and you can delete any you no longer need. Your monthly limit is on how many you generate, not how many you keep. You can reuse and re-edit a saved letter for a similar role.

Yes. Download a pixel-perfect PDF or an editable Word file from the editor, both preserving your formatting and ATS-safe structure. The Word file opens and edits cleanly in Office or Google Docs. Downloads are unlimited while your plan is active.

Search engines can't: your public QR link is marked noindex and uses an unguessable random address, so it never shows up in search and can't be enumerated or bulk-scraped. A recruiter you send the link to can view it, and like any web page could print or screenshot it; we don't add a download button but can't technically stop that. You can optionally mask your email and phone on the public page, and stop sharing anytime, which kills the link instantly.

Yes. Translate your resume into another language with formatting preserved and phrasing localized, while keeping the output ATS-safe. Your original resume stays unchanged.

Go to Settings → Profile: it holds your target roles, name, phone, country and company, plus the billing address and tax ID printed on your invoices. Your email is your sign-in; contact support to change it. Changes apply as soon as you click Save.

Yes. Export everything you have created as JSON from the Data tab in Settings, and delete your account and its data from the same place at any time; the Privacy Policy lists the few records we keep. Raw LinkedIn profile data is deleted automatically after 30 days regardless. We do not sell your data.

Never. The analysis is read-only: we do not connect to your account, we do not post, and we do not message anyone on your behalf. We can only read public profiles, so if yours is private, set it public for a few minutes to run the analysis, then switch it back.

The Resume Pass ($7.99/mo) covers everything you need to apply: AI rewrites, watermark-free PDF and DOCX, the full LinkedIn report, cover letters, interview prep and weekly job matches. Pro ($19.99/mo) is for an active job search: tailored resume versions, job searches whenever you want with email alerts, and higher AI allowances. The application tracker is unlimited on every plan, free included. Both bill monthly and can be cancelled anytime.

Yes, if you haven't used Ruubu. Your first payment for a plan is refunded in full when you ask within 14 days and haven't used any AI feature or downloaded anything since your plan started; an unused job pack or voice interview pack qualifies too. When you qualify, Settings → Billing shows a Get a refund button. Other payments aren't refunded, except where the law requires otherwise. If you were charged by mistake, for example twice, email support@ruubu.com and we'll put it right.

Both the Resume Pass and Pro can be cancelled anytime from Settings, then Billing; after a payment, you keep access until the end of the month you paid for, and cancelling during the free trial ends it right away. There is no cancellation fee.

Stripe emails a receipt and invoice for every charge, and you can download them anytime from the billing portal. The charge on your statement comes through Stripe under Ruubu. It is in the currency you saw at checkout (US dollars or your local currency); some banks add a fee for payments to companies abroad. If a payment fails, update your card in the billing portal and we will retry.

Most reports finish in a couple of minutes; if one looks stuck, refresh the page first, since the result often arrives in the background. If it is still stuck after a few minutes, it usually means the LinkedIn profile is private or the source data was incomplete, so set the profile public and re-run. If it persists, email support@ruubu.com and we will fix it, with no quota lost.

Try a hard refresh and a different browser tab first, since most export hiccups are transient. Clear your cache if a stale page keeps loading. If a download still fails, contact support@ruubu.com with the resume name and we will regenerate the file for you.

Yes. 42 of the 55 templates are marked ATS-safe: one column of real text with standard headings, and accent colors or font changes never break that. Two-column, graphic and photo layouts are flagged in the gallery and the editor, so you know when to switch. Your data is private, never sold, and deletable anytime; raw LinkedIn profile data is deleted within 30 days after your paid access ends. The free analysis is read-only and touches nothing on your LinkedIn account.
