What we collect

When you run an analysis, we fetch the public content of the LinkedIn profile URL you provide, with your explicit consent. This retrieval happens only at your instruction and on your behalf: you initiate each analysis and direct us to fetch the data for the profile you submit, confirming it is your own or one you are authorized to analyze. We also store your account email, the resumes you create, and your job-matching targets. We do not collect passwords — sign-in is via Google or email links.

How long we keep it

  • Raw profile data is kept only while your plan is active so your job matches stay current, and is automatically deleted within 30 days after your access ends.
  • Your resume content stays as long as your account exists, so you can return to it.
  • If you delete your account, all data is fully removed within 30 days.

Who processes your data

We never sell or share your data for advertising. These processors handle it strictly to provide the service: OpenAI (text generation — API data is not used for model training under their API data policy), Apify (profile and job data retrieval), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Cloudflare (infrastructure and storage), and Google Analytics (anonymized usage measurement).

Your rights (GDPR/EEA & UK)

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. You can export all your data as JSON or delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Data & privacy. Consent, export and deletion events are logged for compliance. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] from your account address and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or deletion of it, and to correct inaccurate information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. To make a request, email [email protected] from your account address.

Cookies & analytics

Ruubu uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and the service working, and Google Analytics to measure aggregate, anonymized usage (page views and feature interactions) so we can improve the product. Analytics sets first-party cookies and shares pseudonymous usage data with Google as a processor. We do not use this data for advertising and we never sell it. Analytics runs only in production; you can block it with any standard cookie or tracker blocker, or your browser's Do Not Track setting, without losing functionality.

Data-breach notification

We maintain reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. In the unlikely event of a personal-data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify affected users and, where required, the relevant supervisory authority without undue delay and in accordance with applicable law.

Governing law

This Privacy Policy and any dispute relating to it are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where a mandatory local data-protection law applies to you. If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
