How it works
From a job link to a clear to-do list
Paste the job link
Copy the link from LinkedIn or a company's career page. We open the public posting and read the whole description.
Add your resume
Paste the text, upload a PDF or DOCX, or pick one of your saved resumes if you have an account. You can also skip it.
See what's missing
Get a match score, the skills the job asks for marked as covered or missing, and the few fixes that matter most.
What you get
Everything the posting asks for, checked against your resume
A match score
One number for how closely your resume lines up with this posting, so you know whether to apply as is or adjust first.
Must-have keywords
The skills and tools the employer requires, split from the nice-to-haves, in the words the posting uses.
Missing skills
Each requirement is marked as on your resume or missing, so the gaps are visible at a glance.
Top fixes
A short, ordered list of changes to make first, with a hint for where each one belongs.

FAQ
Job Link Optimizer questions
What does the Job Link Optimizer do?
You paste the link to a job posting and, if you like, your resume. We read the posting, pull out the must-have skills, nice-to-haves and tools, and mark which of them your resume already shows. You get a match score and a short list of the fixes that will close the biggest gaps.
Which job links work?
LinkedIn job links work, as do most public job pages on company career sites. Use the link to the job itself (on LinkedIn it looks like linkedin.com/jobs/view/…), not a search results page. If a page needs a login or blocks automated reading, you can paste the job description instead.
Is it free, and do I need an account?
Yes, the analysis is free and you don't need an account. To fix your resume for the job in the editor, with the missing keywords listed beside it and AI rewrites, get the Resume Pass ($7.99/mo). A separate tailored copy of your resume for every job is part of Pro ($19.99/mo).
Will the employer or LinkedIn know I checked the job?
No. We only read the public posting. We never apply, post, message anyone or sign in to your LinkedIn account, and nothing is sent to the employer.
How is the match score worked out?
We compare the skills, tools and requirements in the posting with what your resume shows. The more of the posting's must-haves your resume covers, the higher the score. It's a guide to what to add, not a prediction of whether you'll get an interview.
How is this different from the resume checker?
The resume checker scores your resume as a whole against ATS checks like structure, headings and measurable results. The Job Link Optimizer starts from one specific job: it reads that posting and shows what this employer asks for that your resume doesn't show yet. Many people use both.
