LinkedIn profile optimizer: see what recruiters see

A LinkedIn profile optimizer reads your public profile the way a recruiter searching for candidates would. Ruubu scores it out of 100 and gives each of 8 sections, from photo and headline to skills and certifications, a verdict: looks good, needs work or missing. Your first analysis is free and needs no sign-up.

Paste a URL like linkedin.com/in/your-name. We never post to LinkedIn.

  • First analysis free, no sign-up
  • Reads public profile data only
  • Never posts or messages on your behalf

Eight sections, read like a recruiter reads them

Each section gets one of three verdicts. A section is missing when it is absent or empty, and needs work when it is there but generic, thin or not aimed at a clear role.

  • Photo

Whether there is a profile photo at all, and whether it reads as a clean, professional first impression.

  • Banner

Whether the background image is set, or left as the default that tells a visitor nothing.

  • Headline

Whether the headline names your specialty and the skills recruiters search for, not only your current job title.

  • About

Whether the summary says what you do, for whom and with what result, instead of one generic line.

  • Experience

Whether your roles show outcomes and numbers, not only duties.

  • Skills

Whether you list enough skills, and the right ones, for the role you want next.

  • Education

Whether degrees and schools are filled in so search filters can find you.

  • Certifications

Whether licenses and certifications that matter in your field are listed.

Profile score

61 out of 100

Needs work
  • PhotoLooks good

A clear, well-lit photo. Keep it.

  • BannerMissing

No banner set. A simple role-specific image adds credibility above the fold.

  • HeadlineNeeds work

Names the job title but not the specialty or the tools a recruiter would search for.

  • AboutNeeds work

Two sentences, no results. Say what you run, for whom, and one outcome.

  • ExperienceNeeds work

Duties are listed, outcomes are not. Add one measurable result per role.

  • SkillsLooks good

Fourteen skills, most of them relevant to logistics roles.

  • EducationLooks good

Degree and school are filled in.

  • CertificationsMissing

No certifications listed. Add any supply-chain or software certificates you hold.

Questions about the LinkedIn review

What does a LinkedIn profile optimizer do?

It reviews your profile section by section and tells you what to change so recruiters find you and read on. Ruubu gives a score out of 100, a verdict for each of 8 sections and written fixes you can paste into LinkedIn.

Is the LinkedIn profile review free?

Your first analysis is free and needs no account: you get the score, a verdict for every section and one written fix. The fix for every section, a suggested headline and the keyword coverage come with Resume Pass.

Will Ruubu post to my LinkedIn or contact anyone?

No. Ruubu only reads the public data of the profile you submit. It never logs in to your LinkedIn account, never posts and never sends messages.

How is the profile score calculated?

The score uses the same 0 to 100 scale as our resume checker: your profile is read as a resume and run through the same checks. The section verdicts come from a review of each section against what recruiters look for.

Can it analyze a private profile?

No. The review can only read what is publicly visible. If your profile is private or the URL has a typo, the analysis stops and asks you to check the link.

Should my LinkedIn profile match my resume?

The facts should match: titles, dates and employers. The wording can differ. Your resume is tailored to one job, while your profile is written for every recruiter who searches for your skills.
