ATS Plain resume template

ATS Plain is deliberately unstyled. It uses Arial, black text only, bold uppercase headings with a plain black rule, and ordinary round bullets. There is nothing for a parser to misread, which makes it the safest file to upload to a strict job portal.

ATS Plain template questions

When should I use ATS Plain instead of a designed template?

Use it when you apply through a large company portal, a government system, or any posting that asks for a plain format. You can keep a designed version to send to people directly.

Can I keep two versions of my resume?

Yes. Duplicate your resume in the app and switch the copy to ATS Plain. Both stay editable.
