Is Ruubu just a resume checker?

No. The free check is where you start. For each job you apply to, Ruubu helps you shape your resume to the posting, write a matching cover letter, prepare for the interview and keep track of the application. The Resume Pass adds weekly job matches; Pro adds a tailored copy of your resume for every job and job searches whenever you want.

What does the resume check measure?

How cleanly an applicant tracking system can read your resume and how strong it looks to the recruiter who reads it next. 14 checks, each with a specific fix: contact details complete; professional summary; standard section headings; skills section depth; skills backed by experience; dates on every role; consistent dates, newest first; no long unexplained gaps; 2-5 bullets per role; bullets include measurable results; bullets start with strong action verbs; bullet length in range; length fits one to two pages; education listed. Is my resume kept private?

Yes. We never sell or share your resume. Text you paste into the free checker, and any job description with it, is deleted automatically after 7 days unless you open it in the editor, which saves it to your account.

Will an ATS be able to read your templates?

43 of the 55 templates are single-column or logically ordered with real, selectable text, so parsers read them in order. The 12 photo layouts are marked and not recommended for US applications.

Do you offer refunds?
