Is Ruubu a good Final Round AI alternative?

It depends on your stage. If you still need interviews, Ruubu prepares the resume, cover letter and interview kit for each job on the Resume Pass ($7.99/mo). Final Round AI is stronger once interviews are booked: practice sessions in eight scenarios, debriefs and coding help.

What Final Round AI offers

Final Round AI runs as a desktop app on macOS and Windows. Its free plan lets you set up job goals with your resume and materials, parse a job description and follow a prep checklist. Pro is shown on its home page as "$25+/mo" and adds live sessions, Stealth Mode and every interview type; there is no free trial, and the full plan list appears in the app.

Its practice interviews cover eight scenarios: general, coding, system design, behavioral, product case, data and ML, salary negotiation and recruiter screen, with debriefs afterwards. Screen Help handles coding and system-design questions.

The resume side has moved. Its explore page still lists a resume builder, a resume checker and a cover letter generator, but those addresses now redirect to the interview product, so we mark them as not available on its live pages.

Its refund policy gives a 72-hour money-back guarantee on first and renewal charges, once per customer, unless you held at least 2 sessions longer than 30 minutes in that period. After 72 hours, payments are final except where the law says otherwise.[1][2][3][4]

Is Ruubu's interview prep the same as Final Round AI?
No. Ruubu's Resume Pass gives a written kit for one job: likely questions and answer outlines from your own resume. It has no live interview assistant and no mock interview sessions.
How do I cancel Final Round AI?
In the desktop app open Settings, then Account & Billing, choose Manage subscription and confirm the cancellation in the billing portal that opens in your browser. Opening the portal alone does not cancel.
