LinkedIn Premium Career adds job-fit insights, Top Applicant jobs, InMail credits and profile-viewer data to the network most recruiters already use. Ruubu prepares the documents for each application. They do different jobs, so here is what each one is for.

Is Ruubu a good LinkedIn Premium alternative?

Yes, if what you need is a stronger resume, cover letter and interview for each job. Premium Career is US$39.99 a month and only reviews a resume you upload; Ruubu's Resume Pass is $7.99/mo and writes them with you. Premium is stronger for reaching recruiters on LinkedIn itself.

What LinkedIn Premium Career offers

LinkedIn's Premium Career page lists US$39.99 a month or US$239.88 a year, before VAT or GST, with other prices in other currencies. Its help pages describe a free trial of one month for eligible members, while another says trial length and eligibility vary by region or promotion. A card is required and the trial converts to a paid plan unless cancelled.

For job seekers, Premium Career adds Top Applicant jobs, AI insights on how well you fit a job post, InMail credits, a list of who viewed your profile and LinkedIn Learning. Resume Tips reviews an uploaded resume against a job and suggests edits, on desktop and in English only; cover letter assistance is in beta for a limited number of subscribers.

It is not a resume builder: we found no templates, editor or resume export in the Premium Career help pages. AI-powered job search, meanwhile, is available to all members for free.

Refunds may be possible within 7 days of a charge if Premium was not used, and EU members get a full refund within 14 days of the subscription start. Purchases through the App Store are refunded by Apple.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]

How to move from LinkedIn Premium to Ruubu

  1. 1.Save your LinkedIn profile as a PDF, or download the resume you uploaded to LinkedIn, so you have a file to start from.
  2. 2.Upload the file (PDF, DOCX or TXT) to Ruubu's free checker. You get a score and a fix list right away, without an account.
