Careerflow is a job-search copilot: a tracker with a Chrome extension, a LinkedIn optimizer, autofill, an AI resume builder and, on its top plan, mock interviews. Ruubu goes deeper on the application itself. Here is how to choose, or use both.

Is Ruubu a good Careerflow alternative?

Yes, if you want interview prep without paying for a top tier. Careerflow's mock interviews need Premium Plus at $44.99 a month; Ruubu's Resume Pass ($7.99/mo) includes interview kits, cover letters and translation. Careerflow's tracker, extension and LinkedIn optimizer are stronger for organising a search.

What Careerflow offers

Careerflow sells two paid tiers. Premium costs $8.99 a week, $23.99 a month, $54.99 a quarter or $172.99 a year. Premium Plus costs $44.99 a month or $299.99 a year, with weekly and quarterly plans too, and adds AI mock interviews with analysis. Its terms say subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.

The free plan includes one resume, built from scratch, from LinkedIn or from an upload, with a free export and a basic ATS score. Its own pages disagree on the limits: the builder page says unlimited free resumes and the FAQ says the tracker has no job limit, while the help center says one resume and up to 10 tracked jobs.

Careerflow's strength is the job-search layer: a Kanban tracker, a Chrome extension that saves jobs from 45+ job platforms and autofills applications, a LinkedIn profile score and networking contacts. Its FAQ says a dedicated mobile app is on its roadmap.

Refunds depend on which page you read. The terms and the refund article give 7 days from the original purchase and exclude weekly plans entirely; the cancel article says 30 days; and another line of the terms says no refunds at all.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]

How to move from Careerflow to Ruubu

  1. 1.Download your resume from Careerflow as a PDF or Word file (its help center lists both; Word formatting may vary).
  2. 2.Upload the file (PDF, DOCX or TXT) to Ruubu's free checker. You get a score and a fix list right away, without an account.
  3. 3.Create a free account to open the resume in the editor, pick a template and work through the fixes; the score updates as you edit.
  4. 4.Paste the link of the job you want next. Ruubu lists the requirements your resume does not show yet, so you know what to change for that posting.
  5. 5.Only pay when you want AI rewrites, cover letters, interview prep or clean downloads. Before that, check how Careerflow handles cancelling and refunds (see the table above).

How much does Careerflow Premium cost?
Its plans page lists Premium at $23.99 a month or $172.99 a year, and Premium Plus at $44.99 a month or $299.99 a year, with weekly and quarterly options too (checked October 2026).
Can I get a refund from Careerflow?
Usually only within 7 days of the original purchase, and never on a weekly plan, per its terms and refund article. One help article says 30 days and another line of the terms says no refunds, so ask in writing quickly.
How do I cancel Careerflow?
Click Manage Subscription on your profile page, confirm the email link, then use Cancel or Pause plan in the Stripe billing portal. Email requests are not enough; cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
Does Ruubu have a Chrome extension like Careerflow?
No. Ruubu has no browser extension and does not autofill applications. Its application tracker is on paid plans. For saving jobs from many boards, Careerflow's extension is the better tool.
Can I use Careerflow and Ruubu together?
Yes. You can track and autofill with Careerflow's free plan and prepare the resume, cover letter and interview for your best-fit jobs with Ruubu.
