Simplify is best known for Copilot, a free browser extension that autofills job applications, plus a free tracker and an AI layer called Simplify+. Ruubu focuses on what you send: a resume, cover letter and interview prep matched to each job.

Is Ruubu a good Simplify alternative?

Yes, if quality per application matters more than volume. Simplify+ costs $39.99 a month and payments are generally non-refundable; Ruubu's Resume Pass is $7.99/mo with cover letters, interview prep and a refundable first payment. Simplify's free autofill and tracker are better for applying fast.

What Simplify offers

Simplify's pricing article lists Simplify+ on three periods: weekly, $39.99 every month or $89.99 every three months, each renewing until cancelled and charged for the full period up front. Prices in the App Store and promotional offers can differ, per the same article.

Much of Simplify is free: Copilot's basic autofill on supported application forms, the job tracker with Gmail status suggestions, and a manual resume builder where you can import, edit and export a resume. AI resume generation, tailoring, AI cover letters and Autopilot are Simplify+.

Autopilot fills in and submits supported applications for you, with 20 credits a week that do not roll over. Its help article states there is no review step before submission, so check your profile data first.

The refund policy is strict: payments are non-refundable, except that Simplify may give a pro-rated refund if you contact it within 24 hours of a renewal charge, minus processing fees. Unhappiness with AI-generated content is not grounds for a refund.[1][2][3][4]

How to move from Simplify to Ruubu

  1. 1.Export your resume from Simplify's resume builder with the Export button.
  2. 2.Upload the file (PDF, DOCX or TXT) to Ruubu's free checker. You get a score and a fix list right away, without an account.
  3. 3.Create a free account to open the resume in the editor, pick a template and work through the fixes; the score updates as you edit.
  4. 4.Paste the link of the job you want next. Ruubu lists the requirements your resume does not show yet, so you know what to change for that posting.
  5. 5.Only pay when you want AI rewrites, cover letters, interview prep or clean downloads. Before that, check how Simplify handles cancelling and refunds (see the table above).

Is Simplify Copilot free?
Basic autofill is free, per its help center. Autopilot, which submits applications for you, and the AI writing tools are part of Simplify+.
Does Ruubu autofill applications like Simplify?
No. Ruubu has no browser extension and never submits applications. You can use a free autofill tool for the forms and Ruubu for the resume, letter and interview prep.
How do I cancel Simplify+?
Open your profile, find the My Simplify+ card, choose Manage Subscription, then Cancel Subscription and confirm. Paid access lasts to the end of the period; iOS purchases are cancelled through Apple.
