Is Ruubu a good LiveCareer alternative?

Yes, if you want a downloadable PDF for free and help for a specific job. LiveCareer's free plan downloads TXT only, and its $2.95 trial renews at $23.95 every four weeks. LiveCareer's $71.40 annual plan and 50,000 phrases suit a long, writing-heavy search.

What LiveCareer offers

LiveCareer's price page sells 14-day access for $2.95, auto-renewing at $23.95 billed every four weeks, and an annual plan at $71.40 up front ($5.95 a month) that renews each year. Its FAQ describes the renewal as monthly in one answer and every four weeks in another.

The free plan lets you try every builder feature, including ready-made content and spell-check, but downloads only as TXT. Paid plans download PDF, Word, TXT and RTF.

LiveCareer's terms are the same BOLD LLC contract used by MyPerfectResume and Zety. The terms and FAQ say a refund cannot be guaranteed in all cases, even though the price page invites you to ask within 14 days.[1][2][3]

How to move from LiveCareer to Ruubu

  2. 2.Upload the file (PDF, DOCX or TXT) to Ruubu's free checker. You get a score and a fix list right away, without an account.
  3. 3.Create a free account to open the resume in the editor, pick a template and work through the fixes; the score updates as you edit.
  4. 4.Paste the link of the job you want next. Ruubu lists the requirements your resume does not show yet, so you know what to change for that posting.

Their terms of use all name BOLD LLC as the contracting company, so the billing rules read the same. Prices and features differ by brand.
Can I bring my LiveCareer resume to Ruubu?
Yes. Download it (TXT works on the free plan), upload it to Ruubu's checker and open it in the editor with a free account to apply a template.
