How to cancel a Zety subscription
Zety's trial renews automatically, so cancelling before the renewal date is what stops the next charge. Here are the ways Zety itself documents, with its refund terms and what to look for on your statement.

How do I cancel my Zety subscription?
Cancel in the My Plan section of your Zety account dashboard, or call or chat with Zety support (US phone 800-985-7561). Zety emails a cancellation number to confirm. The $1.70 trial renews at $23.95 every 4 weeks, so cancel before the trial ends to avoid that charge.
Before you cancel
- Download every resume and cover letter you want to keep from Zety first. With paid access you can download PDF, Word or TXT; the free plan only downloads TXT.
- Find your renewal date: the 14-day trial renews at $23.95 every 4 weeks, and the annual plan renews each year.
- Check which email address the account uses, so the cancellation number reaches an inbox you read.
- If you want to ask for a refund, do it in the same contact as the cancellation and keep the reply.

Refunds
Zety's terms say you may request a refund if you give notice of cancellation before the end of the initial period, where an initial period is offered, and that Zety does not guarantee refunds. The US price page we read prints no separate money-back promise.
In practice that means the trial period is the time to ask. After the first renewal, the terms give no right to a refund.
If Zety closes an account for breaking its terms, the terms say fees paid are not refundable.[3][1]
After you cancel
The terms say Zety sends an email with a cancellation number to confirm every cancellation request. Keep it until you have seen at least one billing date pass without a charge.
Zety's terms are a contract with BOLD LLC, with Auxiliant S.à.r.l as merchant of record, the same group as MyPerfectResume and LiveCareer. A separate subscription on one of those brands is cancelled separately.[3]
Common situations
You are still in the trial. Cancel before day 14 and ask for a refund in the same call, chat or message; the terms only describe refunds for a cancellation within the initial period.
The first renewal has already gone through. Cancel straight away so the next $23.95 charge does not follow 4 weeks later, then ask support about the charge and keep the cancellation number. The terms do not promise a refund at this point.
You cannot sign in. Call or chat with support from the contact page and give the email address on the account; they can cancel for you and send the cancellation number to that address.
You paid for the annual plan. It renews each year, so cancel before the renewal date to stop the next yearly charge.[3][1][2]
What to check on your bank statement
Zety's contact page lists the names its charges can appear under:

- Match the amount and the date: a charge every 4 weeks moves a little earlier each month, so it will not land on the same day as a monthly bill.
- If your card is in another currency, your bank may add a conversion fee or show a slightly different amount from the list price.
- If a charge appears after you cancelled, contact the company first and quote your cancellation confirmation; keep a copy of every reply.
- If that does not resolve it, your card issuer can explain its dispute process. Ask them before the dispute window on your card closes.
